Colorado issues
will be top priorities
We are facing a set of serious challenges concerning the economy,
healthcare, education,cost of energy and more. Concerning Education,
for example, the rate of K12 student drop out and
the quality of student learning have been moving in diametrically
opposing directions. This ever growing problem seems to persistently
lack an adequate solution. Most already understand that just
throwing more money at this problem will not solve it.
An educator once commented, why not start by identifying
" schools that are succeeding against conventional
wisdom and figure out how they're doing it"? Defending
the Taxpayer's Bill of Rights (TABOR) will be another challenge
to address.
I stand for the basic values that made this nation great: upholding
the Constitution, individual freedom with responsibility, and
smaller smarter government with prudent tax and spending policies.
An essential part of my belief are the values of equality, justice
and the sanctity of human life. Representing Colorado citizens
is a great responsibility. The important business of dealing
with your local and state business will be my first priority.
